No, the nominee office, that processed the nomination, the person would know what I am talking about. Anyway, I spent the past 30 minutes trying to locate a user who lost his job once, then he got a new job and the company closed down then he had to get another job and his application is still in process. I did not find him, however I found this thread, have the person read it to get an understanding: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...d-progress-of-application.699839/post-9645310

Hello everyone? Any CoPR or PR Card received this weekend? I just wanna check the time for these final phases... Thank you and sending positive thoughts on the PR process to everyone.
Congratulations, I had same experience and got RFV/PPR email 24hrs later. There will be no update on GVKEY until the day your visa will be granted and your COPR generated, you will also get Counterfoil generated on your GCkey and your application will move to 100%
I think you were an outland applicant. That is a different story. They need to bring people from outside to work and pay taxes as soon as possible. Inland applicants, however, are already paying taxes. So, the more delay in their applications, the more revenue they can take out of inlands without giving any benefits to applicants. It is called work visa hostage.
Thanks for the reply! I am trying to figure out the grounds for processing some applications faster than the others. Is it based on applicants' race, country of origin, sex, province, job title, .... .
