I just spoke to agent and he said that no one had touched my file since long (since a few months). He will put a reminder note about my file. You know guys, this is the reason for delay of our files. If they were actually working on it, they would have finished it soon enough. They are waiting till almost end of their "due date" to finish off stuff. smh

Yeah, it was the same for mine when I spoke to an agent. Nobody touched the file since July,2022 when I submitted the requested ADR.

I told her there has been no updates since July and all it says is that we are reviewing the docs you sent. So she said she sent a note regarding my file to the processing officer. It’s been a week since I called but there hasn’t been any updates. If there was a ghost update I wouldn’t know because my file is with a consultant.

Does anyone else feel like IRCC is slowing down TR to PR again? I have seen less approvals this week than previous few weeks, Also, FB groups are filled with people now posting their ecopr and PR timelines., just forgot about the ppl who are still waiting for approval.. I guess that's how the world works :) :)
sorry not trying to bring any negative energy. just sharing what I felt.

Only 2000 file processed in month of January so that tell u alot(immigration news backlog,2023). Not expecting much till after Easter holidays. Maybe summer 2023. Tr to pr pathway is not in a hurry till 2024. So better let them.do their work as they wish.

of course, we cant dictate how they work. the whole system is unfair in terms of timelines. it is not that difficult to have at least an approximate sequence. I know some applications are more complicated than others and can take longer but still it is certainly possible for a country like Canada.
Again - It is us who need PR. but a process like Permanent Residence can put someone's life in standstill. It will be nice to hire and let more people work efficiently in IRCC

Waiting can be hard bt then hung on in there. We've come so far already. Still, look out for Express entry if u have the points. Its processing faster
I got my endorsement for AIP 2 weeks ago, but I held up a little longer since I saw applications from June were being processed ( applied on June 25th). Now I noticed they're processing applications from July and I still haven't heard anything ( my type of luck). At this point I'd rather go with AIP, because in my case, this program was nothing but a scam. That's why I want to know if I can get all of my money back.
I hope you guys get your PRs soon and don't have an experience like mine.

I that case, I wish u luck. But then let the 2 applications run concurrently...u never know where luck will come calling...once one goes thro cash will be refunded

it usually would take far more than a week for them to do anything. I think within 1 month you should see some sort of progress. Do update us here then

Quick question guys. Would I be able to refund all the fees if I cancel my application? I'm done waiting.
OMG--please don't do that! First, you're not likely to get a refund because some processing has started. Remember, there are a lot of us who have received PR approval emails without anything much happening in our accounts except perhaps Medical passing -- that doesn't mean there aren't things going on behind the scenes -- for example, my GCMS notes said my eligibility passed on Aug 4, but I didn't get PR email til Jan 24, and my account still says their reviewing my eligibility & background. And secondly, based on your June application date & March AOR you are potentially in the prime zone to receive PR soon. Chin up!
