Biometrics may 2 2022
ADR:June 7, 2022 processing docs provided
Background check just shows processing
Final decision pending I don't know what to do.
Do I need TRV or just work permit is enough
It would help to understand more about your current situation:
When did you apply for the TR to PR Pathway?
When did you link or receive AOR?
What is your current valid permit status in Canada? When does it expire?
Are you actually in Canada right now? Or trying to get back to Canada from which country?
If you're in Canada on a valid Work permit, all is good but if it's expiring within the next 4 months, you should apply for a new one under the temporary policy "OWP under TR to PR Pathway."
If you applied for another Work, Study or Visitor Visa before your current status expired and still waiting for it to be processed, you are under 'maintained' status as whatever your last valid visa was.
If you are outside of Canada, your current or last permit may or may not allow re-entry to Canada. You may need a new TRV.
It does, but I know people who added their dependents after me, but have already received approvals. There is still some randomness that I can not decipher. From all the notes, it appears that no one has even cared to look at my application for several months.
However, I also know that there are several others in the same boat!

Let see, maybe they are based in AOR date instead of the application date, hopefully you will get something by the end of the week, so please let us know.
My AOR is Feb 15.
I have not received any approval but i received this mail yesterday.
is this a good sign?

IRCC is doing some surveys but do check it out on their website before you respond. And it looks likely that they are just a little ahead of their skis—you may want to respond after you actually receive PR notification or their survey questions might not be relevant. Based on your late June 2021 application & May 2022 AOR, you would be right on track with other recent PR approvals so you could receive the PR email soon. Let us know!
