Yes its updated and I used that. Looks like its not for my category - In the help page it says its only for people sponsoring or being sponsored as spouse partner or child.
That's not correct. Any primary applicant can use this.
I just saw my tracker it shows Background check and eligiblity not started, are these accurate?

Should be. This is the most up-to-date status, and you should get the exact same update if you call IRCC as well.

Thanks it worked.

When I called IRCC, the agent said my background check and eligiblity are in progress, but tracker is showing not started. Not sure which one is correct.

It was mentioned in the notes on the status tracker account creation step that there might be a delay in between status updates. Speaking to an IRCC agent might still yield the most up-to-date application progress information.

What date did you called? Tracker shows it was last updated 1st Feb.

I called IRCC on Wednsday, 1st Feb, around 8:30 am. Is the tracker not real time?

My tracker says last updated was 1st February as well. Must not get updated daily

The tracker is showing wrong home address for me and my son and correct one for my wife. Is anyone also seeing a similar issue ?

For me it still shows my company attorney's address who had filed my work permit. However during the call IRCC agent mentioned my correct address is also on the file. You may want to call and check or submit a webform for the correction.
Hi everyone, bit confused here around timelines and whether we can feel confident or not yet. We're unsure what all the different steps mean, so we're posting our timeline here.
Program: Inland CEC Express Entry (Principal Applicant & Common-Law Spouse)
PR Application Submitted: December 30 2022
AoR Received: December 30 2022
BOWP Applications Submitted: December 31 2022
Medical Check Complete (do not require): January 31 2023
Biometrics Invitation: January 31 2023
Biometrics Complete: February 2 2023
Current Status: "We are processing your background check"
Obviously it hasn't been long AT ALL, but we have a couple of questions:
- Are things looking promising, typical, or not good? Is it ridiculous to think positively about this? We are here on implied status and waiting for our work permits, so obviously keeping positive!
- We've seen on many forums, people talking about updates such as IP1, IP2, MEP etc. Where exactly can we see this information? On the IRCC application portal we just see general information about the stages (medical check not required, we are processing background check etc.), and then the letters for submission confirmation and invitation to biometrics etc. Are we missing something?
Thanks as well to this community for being so awesome. Definitely gives us peace of mind to see others going through the process.

Your timeline seems pretty normal. I wouldn't be too worried at this stage. Usually a call (if you can get through to them) to IRCC they can tell you what each stage your application is at, which VO it's with etc. Usually call right at 8am or again at 8:30am - which is where I have the most luck.
With your application, I wouldn't bother ordering GCMS Notes until the end of Feb - approx. 60 days after R10 (When your UCI is updated to your official one, not the CANXXXXX one). CBSA Notes tend to be quicker to process according to the web - and CBSA notes still has the information about your application (as you need to provide the application number when making the request.
CBSA Notes provides the current status (reason for refusal, if applicable), processing details, and the officer’s notes. May also include information which may be redacted by IRCC under statutory exemptions.
I am considering to apply under CEC where my current experience is as Retail store supervisor in TEER-2 for 8 months and I am going to my home country for family visit so I am leaving my current job right after finishing my 8 months and I have found another job where I am getting manager position in food store where I will work 4 months in order to fulfill 12 months experience. So, two different TEER level in CEC express entry. Will this be fine?
