No we don't have an option to choose. Oath email has the detail whether its in-person or virtual.

Im SCR and Oath on the 16th - no e-mail yet. I think we get them like 10 days before.

Hi guys I need advice Wht to do I did apply since July 2019 may 2020 did first finger print and got completed after 3 weeks and had my test April 2022 passed the test then got interview august 17 ,2022 next day got complete , Physical presence and Language skills and told me I have to do another fingerprint cz the first one was expired so I waited since August 2022 to end of November for the email to do my fingerprint and got updated December 16 2022 still my Prohibitions in progress !! But last night I checked on my old tracker it said decision made but the new one no update yet not even prohibition complete

You should get Oath date pretty soon. If you call IRCC they might even tell you the Oath date scheduled for you. Because of issue in the tracker for some applicants information about status update is not being shown.

How did it go?
Did it cause any delays?
Did you have to fill any web forms?

Typically, a decision made on ECAS means having completed the requirements for physical presence, language proficiency and prohibition on the new tracker. However, due to current issues with the new tracker, updates may not be immediately reflected in some cases even after a decision is made on ECAS. Call IRCC.
