Applied for inlaws super visa on 10th Nov 2022 with upfront medicals and biometrics from previous applications. So far there's been no update whatsoever. Not sure why it's taking so long.

hi guys i have submitted for my moms super visa application on 26th of march 2022, she got medical request on 4th of July, since we have done medical, there is no update its been over 6 month only thing changed is We are reviewing the results of your medical exam that's it. is there anyone experiencing that kind of delay, i have submitted web form multiple time to see where is her application what's the update but never received any satisfied answer, all reapply seems like just automated reapply, we have submitted her application on online through ircc portal, country Bangladesh and her application is in Singapore now, please shear your thought on that,

Hi @ankit16.shukla Is there any update on this? Has your mom received super visa being in Canada? Does she have to leave Canada after 6 months or can she continue staying here post 6 months? Thanks.

Yes, I have written self explanatory letter and sent it with passport. I received her passport back with supervisa stamp from Ottawa office in 2-3 weeks. I have reached out to MP of our town and her assistant advised me to apply for visitor record to activate super visa so, I ended up applying for visitor record to activate her super visa.

my parents received a request telling them to do medical exam. They completed the medical exam a month ago in December. no updates since then..... wondering why it's taking this long..... anybody?

Yes, I have written self explanatory letter and sent it with passport. I received her passport back with supervisa stamp from Ottawa office in 2-3 weeks. Hi, can you help me with step by step procedure. Theres no updates on my moms supervisa and she is coming to Canada on visitor visa in March. I need to have a plan B in place. Appreciate your help!

Timeline for supervisa:

Jan 15: Application submitted
Jan 15: Biometrics update in IRCC portal
Jan 18: Medicals passed
Jan 19: Request for additional documents
Jan 23: Additional documents uploaded
Jan 25: Documents received confirmation
Jan 25: Original passport request

Biometrics used from earlier visa application and medicals done upfront. Parents have US visitor visa and Canadian visitor visa for reference.

my parents took the fingerprints. At the top of the page on ircc poral, there's a unique number, with the expiration date of 10 years. However at the detail section it still shows ircc haven't received the fingerprint...... why....... anybody could advise?? was the fingerprint successfully received.....

For me also it’s saying we need your fingerprint. Let us know please if it gets updated for you. When did you apply and when did they give the biometric ? For us it’s been 5 days.

when you submit a document, do you print and scan it to submit the scanned version, or do you submit a high definition JPEG file?

Well this is very quick congratulations. It has been 19 days for me since medical passed and still nothing. It only says Eligibility started.
