Hey hi, may I ask you if you submitted what’s app conversation and used translator?

Yes, Whatsapp is an important part of the application because these days everyone is using whatsapp unless you use some other software application to chat with your spouse on daily basis. Also, telephone records between me and my spouse were also submitted. I thought of using a translator initially, but it was too difficult to do translation, hence, I sent without the translation.

These documents are assessed at the PA's country, and it is common to be assessed by the visa officer who knows the language in your home country. Although I was not sure but when asked from few other friends, I was told nobody used the translator for the whatsapp chat. The officer will weigh up all your evidence in total and will take a decision based on it.

I see you are sponsoring your spouse from UAE as a Canadian Citizen living in UAE.

Did you submit your relocation plan along with your application? I hope you know that even though you could sponsor your spouse while living outside Canada, being a citizen, IRCC need to know what are your plans about coming back to Canada after your spouse gets its PR?
