I finally received the OCI. On Jan 6th BLS tracking got updated that the OCI is ready to dispatch in the morning. In the afternoon, I got the Purolator tracking ID. I received the OCI card yesterday Jan 9th around 4 p.m.

I didnt provide any originals just the copies attested by myself. Canadian passport, surrender certificate, citizenship certificate, marriage certificate, driver’s license, affidavit, and photos

When you say attested by myself, does it mean sign on the copies or do we need to do something else too?

sign it yourself , I did the same thing and nothing else.

Is it the copy of the last held Indian passport that was surrendered?

what was the affidavit for ?

It was for my difference in place of birth on Indian(city/state/country) and Canadian passports (city)

I wanted to ask if the photo specifications for OCI and Surrender Certificate applications are the same? I'm asking because I might use the SC photos for OCI application as that can save me some money by not going to the photographer again.
