when calling IRCC what menu options did you use. I've tried about 20 times today to call but keep getting the call cut off because the queues are too big

1 if you have questions about an application e.t.c
1 if you are seeking information about express entry
2 If you applied to become a permanent resident
[1,2,3,....] depending on the first letter of your application number
1 to confirm that your application no. is correct

1 Confirm year of birth
1 to get status of your application
0 to speak to a representative.

Yeah I totally understand, it takes time to get anyone on the line.

I am copy pasting the response email from IRCC:

You have indicated that your Dependent (-------‐----------) is currently outside of Canada. Please see the attached Ready for Visa (RFV) letter and be sure to follow the instructions carefully.



It is important to note that the Principle Applicant (-----‐--------') must land in Canada as a Permanent Resident before the Dependent Spouse (--‐-------------------). If the Dependent Spouse tries to fly to Canada and land as a Permanent Resident before the Principle Applicant, there is a chance CBSA will seize their Passport at the airport.

eCOPR: Pending

It's quiet frustrating with IRCC, an agency with zero accountability. It took almost 14 months for approval ( where a couple of my friends in the same pathway ,got approved within 3-4 months and a few others are still waiting)
