Hello, I have received my medical result has passed in October 26, 2022 then same day PAL, then November 15 something showed medical not applicable and then January 5, 2023 again medical result showed as medical passed. Medical, PAL was on October 26, 2022 and after that nothing happening.
Just want to know why it is happening

If you look at my signature and many previous posts, we're all in the same boat. We are a non-priority immigrant stream, so updates between our files are extremely slow to come.

didnt receive Medical exam yet. but, receive PAL on Saturday.
they are all over the place.
"January 7, 2023 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided ". i dont even think this status is reliable. most likely they have already review ,but just mark as reviewing after it was reviewed. i dont know, haha just a theory.
My representative applied for PR for me while I was Outland. I’m on a work permit, currently in Canada. Would I get PAL or Portal?

Does calling IRCC ever work- went through the options 6 times this morning and everytime it just ends with "we're experience a high volume..."
How does IRCC have such terrible customer facing tools re contacting them?

many applicants desperately have tried to reach someone through a very congested line. we must try 15 to 20 times, then it would happen. tough patience is needed to make it happen.

totally- I'm not entirely sure calling them is gonna make a difference for me either,
i kinda feel that if Canada has lofty immigration targets- they should probably invest a bit more money in the IRCC customer care line as well to better support people- it's clear it's underfunded/they possibly need better online tooling.

Or, IRCC directors are saying: "All they fucking call about is application updates when they can check that themselves in their online account. They can wait."
I've been part of big orgs before and for all of them, the priority is the same: "How can we have less call centre staff who sit around and answer basic questions?" IRCC is no different.
I personally don't want to call IRCC, but I feel like the information we see online should reflect what an agent tells you. GCKey should show which offices are handling your file, eligibility/criminality passed etc.

hahahaha, true. I'm trying to call to see if they can actually send me login credentials for the portal so I can do my portal 2 shit and upload photo/address. I'm so close to the end and this latest fuckup has broken me.
It's kinda unbelievable in 2022, that getting support for a simple login problem requires you to have to dig around to find the correct email address to send an email off to and hope that someone on the other end actually reads/responds.
True, with regards to what the info they pull says in GCKey,etc...there systems don't reflect the correct status.

Sorry to hear that dude, have you sent a webform in?? You're too close now, I would bombard them with calls and use any means necessary (including chosing an incorrect option on the phone to get through)

i'm waiting on a call back just now somehow managed to get in the queue- I just entered 3,2,2,0 in the phone options- no idea what those were- took them from a post on this thread
I've avoided webform for now, as I've been hearing its taking 30 days to 2 months to get a response. My rep told me to go the email route for now.
Part of this is kinda comical to me, that the reason I can't confirm my PR is a login credential issue with what seems like a hastily put together process/ the most frustrating part is I'm a technical director - so I can see all the stupid problems and shortcuts in their implementation.

I think they hired Deloitte to build this portal. There's a reason why I call them "Toilet" instead - they're the stupidest company but managed to go very, very deep in the government's pockets when students could build stuff better in 2 minutes.
I just got my PNP. Can you let me know where exactly on the CIC page I should go to apply online for the PR? I would appreciate if you send me the steps to go into the new online portal.
