Hi guys,
I have applied under tr to pr work permit extension policy on sept. 1, 2022. The letter that they gave me has expiry date of 31 december 2022. They have not started eligibilty yet. Now my employer wants a proof that i can still work. So should i call ircc or raise a webform or stop work waiting for decision
To be clear and don’t missing, call IRCC by tomorrow!

my last update on my tr to pr application was on july 8th indicating I have passed medical. since then I have submitted PCC from home country which they asked for. wanted to know if I also had to submit criminal record for my time in canada. I turned 18 back home. they only asked for pcc for the country I live in more than 6 months after age of 18 and canada doesn't have pcc it only has criminal record check. Is it causing the delay of my application ? I see many people have received further updates after medical.

You do not need to submit a PCC from Canada. IRCC already has the ability to request Background Checks (e.g. security, criminality, info sharing) in Canada. Don’t worry — files progress at different rates & in different orders. I also have received no further updates since my medical passed in June.

I have a concern, you mean our trip should be less than 60 days, if our file is under processing or if we have got approval letter. In my case i am outside canada and my trip will be 4 months and my file is still under process.

this is what i recived - We wish to advise you there is a temporary public policy for the issuance of permanent resident visas for TR to PR Pathway applicants who are outside Canada that you may apply for no later than 60 days after your application for permanent residence is refused. To apply for the public policy, you must respond via your MyCIC account within 60 days from the date of this letter clearly stating that you wish to be considered under this public policy. I look forward to receiving your response. If you choose not to respond. I will make my decision based on the information before me, which may result in refusal of your application.

so they will give u 60days to reply and then ask you about when will u return.

Just got the blow. Does anyone know what this actually means ?

Hello,
We are currently processing your application for permanent residency. You now qualify
to receive pre-arrival services to help you prepare for your new life in Canada. These
services are only available to you before you enter Canada.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) funds settlement service provider
organizations to deliver pre-arrival services at no cost to you. We strongly recommend
that you use pre-arrival services. They can help you to:

.........
it usually means that you're eligibility is approved, my friend got a letter like that and a few weeks after his permanent residency was approved. hopefully good news is coming your way.

so did he move back to Canada and then responded or responded back from home itself? Will they consider if you respond from home itself giving the date of return? What about the address you would mention for the portal request?
