For anyone who applied for OWP extension, how long did it take for approval?
Thanks
almost 4 months
unable to connect with call center, previously I would get connected after some attempts. Seems like even new hires have become lazy. All are in holiday mode
Just an update fyi.
[TR2PR Essential English]
Applied: May 2021
AOR: Feb 2022
Medical Passed.
No progress at all.
[BOWP]
Applied: Sep 2022 (just right 4 months before my current closed-damn-work permit expires.)
No progress at all.
I'm starting to lose my mind. Can't work ever since I got laid off from my prev employer on Janurary 2022.
At least give me damn work permit so I CAN WORK NOT LIVE LIKE A PARASITE.
Because my current work permit expires on January 2023, I was not eligible for open work permit when IRCC offered us.
And it's almost exactly been more than 4 months (120 days) but I don't have a work permit yet.
Probably due to Christmas? idk this office has so many excuses for their late work.

I applied for BOWP November 2021. (PR application submitted on April 2021)
They approved it only after I passed my medical, November 2022.
So a whole year.

Hi
@Simqer -- just a reminder that this discussion thread is for applicants who applied to the "TR to PR Pathway" that opened May 6, 2021 & closed Nov 5, 2021. I see that you applied for PR in April 2021 so I assume it's a different program so just a warning that everything in this discussion thread may not exactly apply to you. Anyway, there's still good info here! Best wishes.
Hello everyone
Wishing the best for everyone, I received ADR today under TR to PR and IRCC is asking for my proof of income including paystubs from 2018/12. However I don't have the pay stubs from 2018, will Notice of Assessment and T4 help in this case?
And any advice on what to upload in this case?
Yes, the instructions versus what appears online is confusing. Go back & read the instructions again, step by step, for the OWP for TR to PR Pathway. Follow them exactly. They will have you enter some data that doesn't seem 'right' or doesn't seem to be in the 'right' box, but do it any way. Only follow the instructions or guidance on the screen, or the general OWP guidelines, when you have not been instructed differently about that section from the OWP for TR to PR Pathway. Sorry, I can't be more help.
Maybe someone who has more recently filled out the OWP for TR to PR Pathway can comment?
I see, i m gonna try it again and dont be sorry ,you already been a precious help for me

Yes, T4 & Notice of Assessment is what I provided for a job in 2018 as well but it was not an eligible NOC so I was not relying on that job for my total essential hours worked. My later job was an eligible NOC job & I had those paystubs. My GCMS/CBSA notes show they reviewed them in detail & they were ‘satisfied’. Can you call the company & ask if they have a copy of that last paystub? If you don’t work for them anymore, do you have your ROE? You can go to a Service Canada & request a copy of your Records of Employment (it’s free & has a little more detail). Gather what you can & provide a letter of explanation by their deadline. If you are relying on the hours from that job for your essential worker NOC, do your best to state your estimated hours worked in 2018 by dividing your total earnings by your approximate hourly wage. If you still worked for them in 2019, you should be able to use that hourly wage for your 2018 calculation. Best wishes.

Medical part is fine but something else is causing issue. Did you miss any past refusal? How long was your program for? Diploma or degree?

Thank you. I was going to book another medical test. Mine is one year diploma, grad from cook. In the notes said that the officer don’t think I meet the requirements. So at that time my immigration lawyer helped me sent a webform and grad certificate to explain.
Early Happy New Years from me guys
imma be too drunk to log in on the weekend
I hope everyone gets their approvals in the upcoming year.
best Wishes and happy new year once again!

Just check eligibility under IG category for 1 year diploma related to your program & noc code.
Someone's application got rejected under IG category. Saw a post on fb
