How long does it take to get the test invite?
Here's the average number of days between the "Background Complete" date and the "Test Invite letter/ecas date" for the given dates, based on the information in the excel sheet for Aug is around 16 days (rounded up)

Thanks, for July 2022, its same around average of 17.5 days from BG Complete -> Test Invite. Lets figure out further about Sept after holidays once enough data will be there.
The numbers are random and are also location dependent.
For e.g for Ottawa location, it's anywhere from 2-3/4 months or more from BG to test invite. I checked and June applicants are getting test invite in Dec first week. e.g BG was done in August first week, test invite Dec 2nd week.
So it matters which is your local office.
I am an Ottawa paper applicant and BG was completed on Nov 24 but no invite yet.
I know that I did not share that since the person just asked for info but you are 1000% correct so many factors hence my comment that we are random people on a forum.

I only used folks with BG and Test invite if they only have BG then I did not calculate them the number will most likely come back as NaN "NaN" stands for "Not a Number". since i cannot calculate avg BG to a blank Test invite so at this point no one from Ottowa has an invite in Aug at least

We are in the same boat. On my profile, it shows BG completed on Dec 14th. But on the top right-hand side, it's written updated: Dec 16. Language Skills, Physical Presence, and Prohibitions are still In Progress.

IRCC most likely now has people trained on online applications so we will see movements. that is my thought, because remember they did not have trained staff on online and now we are seeing online application move a bit faster than normal so that is my theory.
