Dec 3: Ghost Update in online tracker

No real update in online tracker, citizenship ceremony still showing as Not Started

Is this nornal and expected to have a ghost update before citizenship ceremony goes in process ?

And when does that history section gets updated at bottom of tracker page, same day when citizenship ceremony turns in process ?

Anyone can share more about this...

I have the same ghost update, everything completed on Dec 1, 2022 but then ghost update with nothing else on Dec 3, 2022. Looks like someone touched the file again after Dec.1 must be a good sign.

Seems a common thing pertaining to niagara falls office, please keep updating if you see any other change in the application history or if you see citizenship ceremony turning to In process

Any body knows what office is this ? Manitoba or Saskatchewan?

Congrats, hopefully I'll get something soon. We both got the same ghost update after everything completed I guess your oath was never in "In Progress" ?

Yes, it never went to in process, may be tomorrow there will be some updates or may be day after.

But i did send a request to schedule me earlier as i have a business trip already planned from jan 15 accompanying letter from HR for that visit and also attached confirmed air ticket.

I am thinking that may have played some part too, as apparently it seems, my invite is not from niagara falls office.

Yes i do have oath email sent on Dec 5 for oath on Dec 19 by MB SK email.

Has anyone that had their oath on Nov 9th at Niagara Falls IRCC that didn’t request urgent processing receive their citizenship certificates by mail as yet?

My family took the oath on Nov9th and we are also still waiting for the citizenship certificate. What does it show on your online tracker account. For all of us in my family, it just wasn't touched since we last received the email to take the oath. It still shows as Oath ceremony in progress.

Wanted to share that I finally received my citizenship certificates today,my oath was on Nov 9th and they have mailed the certificates on Nov 29

Thanks for this info. we also took the oath on Nov9th but have no progress with the citizenship certificate. Could you confirm what your seat number was? I am just wondering if its being posted by the seat numbers or so. Not sure what the criteria is.

almost same boat. Oath on Nov9th. Niagara office. No clue where the citizenship certificates are. We had a travel planned for Christmas to the USA

My wife had her oath November 2nd, according to the 1800 number the certificate was mailed November 18th, we live in Belleville ON and we haven't received it yet!!! anyone else on 2/11 that hasn't received their certificate from this shitty office?
