Applied for inland Spousal Sponsorship - April 14th 2022
Asked for medical and biometrics - August 20th 2022 (completed within 1 week)
Received email confirming my PR was approved - Sept 22nd 2022
Declared my presence in Canada, updated address and uploaded picture into portal - Sept 22nd 2022
Additional information required - photocopy of passport - Nov 7th 2022
Called IRCC Client Support Centre - Nov 17th 2022 - they said it's not part of their department, there is a separate department that deals with COPR and they will leave a note on my file to say I called. Suggested I email.
Wrote a passive aggressive email to IRCC Calgary (replied to the email address which asked me for my additional information) - Nov 17th 2022
Their reply to my email = "Given our current processing capacity, there will be significant delays in processing the high volume of landings. At this time we are unable to provide an approximate timeline for your PR Portal invitation email and/or for your Virtual Landing.
Please note: Follow-up inquiries will not be responded to."
Still waiting for eCOPR.....

Why should it take 2.5 months or more just to send an email with a document?
I arrived on a visitor visa during COVID in 2020 so I have not been able to work for 2 years. We cannot survive like this. Why is there so much of a hold up on this? Just getting very frustrated and annoyed and upset and disheartened.

It’s just a cosmetic reason. The ugly truth is that they have most probably achieved their targets for this year, and can’t come clean to the applicants. Canadian immigration is a circus and they’re treating us like clowns. ECOPRs can be issued within 24 hrs and PR cards in a week time. Last year is an evidence.

I suggest we forget about any further progress on our files, enjoy our vacations and family time. Let’s welcome new year, and hope that they issue eCOPRs latest in the first quarter of 2023.

Lol…. That’s probably because I was pushing them really hard ;)
Haha I know that feeling I've also been emailing and calling the Calgary VO but all they say is due to current processing capacity there will be significant delays.

I think it's very true. They just hold on issuing ecopr to Jan so we are counted for next year quota which is very high for them. I could understand Pr cards taking longer time for printing and delivering but ecopr could be generated by system quickly if the app is approved. It is unethical as we just need the ecopr first for many related activities. Luckily, we may see all ecoprs raining by Jan

True I received an email from Montreal vo
People with Montreal VO, can I assume you have received an email telling you that your application is in queue for finalization, and can’t be processed due to work capacity limit? I received it and all the recipients were BCC’d.
yes I received it with the same response because I mailed them every day since last one month.

First of all congratulations. Yes it is the golden email. The content you uploaded here is asking you to go to portal and declare about your and your dependent's presence in Canada, your residential address and your pics. Log in to the same one you are referring to and follow the instructions.
It doesn't show anything like that on my account.
