I have just recieved the portal 2 email
I have logged on to the portal website, updated my address, and uploaded my personal photo
when I press submit documents it gives this error message
"There was a technical error when handling your request. Please try again later."
any one had such error before
any recommendation how to get this final step done

When did your status change in ecas from application received to " in process or something else? Mine shows app received since May this year. File is with Etobicoke and no update yet

Ecas status changed from in process to application received on August 12 2022 when the file was transferred to Etobicoke, and change straight to decision made on October 27 2022.
It did not change back to 'in process' before 'decision made' in my own case.

Hello @Jerry1998 - I noticed that IRCC gave you a DM on Nov 2 but sent you a portal request only on Nov 18. Did they send you a letter or update your MyCIC account to tell you that the decision they made was the approval of your PR application? or did they keep you in suspense about the decision until the Portal email?
Congratulations! If they need it, they will ask for additional documents from you and start the background check. Take a look at this spreadsheet and add your info there too. The spreadsheet gives you some idea of what to expect and the timelines that others face.
