Good news. Hope you're not in the same boat that I am. They are having some problems to pass people under Criminality check. Everything is passed on my file (double checked with MP and CBSA notes), just the criminality that is open for 10 months already. So, I don't know if the problem is at IRCC, RCMP or CSIS anymore.

But good luck to everyone, they should consider this time that they took to approve the PR to use as your citizenship application...
I really hope it doesn’t take that long.. My wp expires in April 2023 and it’s just super stressful to wait around for years. Can’t even get a clear info on if I can extend my wp with the agent I spoke to at IRCC.

Hey folks,

Finally got some movement on my application.

Here’s my time line:

Application: May 7, 2021 around 4:30AM EST
AOR: May 2, 2022
Additional docs : May 2, 2022 - Right of residency fee. Submitted it next day.
Medical: May 2, 2022 (Since then it changed to you don’t need a medical examination)
Additional doc: PCC - there was a confusion around this so I sent it on August 25, 2022
Eligibility: Passed around August 25th, 2022
GU1: Oct 21, 2022
GU2: Oct 24, 2022

Called IRCC yesterday and was told Info sharing and security are passed and criminality is in progress. I’m hoping the restless wait will soon be over.
Thank you for sharing. Could you please also share how you get transferred to the Agent when you call them? I tried so many times they always say can not able to transfer my call to an agent.
When did you call them, what options did you choose to get to the agent? Thank you so much.

The agent is not up to date for TR2PR. Here is an earlier answer I gave:
“Because TR to PR has taken longer than expected, there is a special policy in place stating that you cannot be rejected solely for being out of Canada. So, you can notify them by webform in advance of your vacation by providing them with your travel dates (departure and return), or you can go on your trip & if they then send you notification of PR while you’re away, you can then respond that you are on vacation & returning on xx date. They will put further PR processing on hold until you return. Then notify them by webform when you are back. Make sure you get a Re-entry stamp in your passport (some have recently stated they’ve been asked for proof of re-entry). Because you’re only vacationing for 1 month, you will not need a PCC unless you previously lived there for greater than 6 months and have not already provided a PCC. Make sure your travel documents (passport & TRV) don’t expire (for several months not just a day or two) before you return & allow travel & re-entry.”
Okay, thank you very much. Is this somewhere written? As if it goes wrong than I can have some proof to back it up.
In case if receive PR email do I have reply with webform because it may take time reach to IRCC officer?

that's awesome, good to see people getting updates on their applications, it was getting scared that they completely stopped working on the Tr to Pr application like some people are saying in the Facebook group.

I jus contacted IRCC 33 mins wait and the only answer I heard was “In Progress”

Can’t we all see the Same crap in our Online application status! IN PROGRESS!!!
same, all the wait just for a robot to read out the same stuff stated online. the disrespect of letting us hold 30min+ just to speak to a robot</3:(

Can we no longer speak to the agent anymore over the phone? Is it only automatic just reading the status off the gckey now?

Based on FB and telegram posts, many of the June applicants are receiving updates. So, they are again working on tr2pr files as many people are receiving ADR, medical passed (Second time), and GU. Hopefully, they will clear many files before the end of this year. :)

When did you call them, what options did you choose to get to the agent? Thank you so much.
  • Call 1-888-242-2100 between 8am - 4pm in your time zone. You may have to call 10-40 times before getting through.
  • When prompted by the automated attendant, after the lengthy preamble, enter 1-(your UCI number followed by #)-1-1-2-0, OR you can enter 3-2-2-0. If you dial the numbers too quickly (the 2), you can get sent to the 'abuse' line and wait in their queue only to have them tell you to call back on the regular line (or some agents might put you back into the main queue).
  • You may have to go through the above sequence 10 to 40 times (15 minutes to over an hour) or more before getting into the actual queue for an agent, and then you are likely to sit on hold for 30 to 60 minutes, or you may be given the opportunity for a call back. Either way, plan to spend an hour or two just to get through.
  • Please remember that it states upfront on website re: contacting IRCC call centre: "If you have an application in process
  • It appears that a few agents have offered a little additional information to a few callers but they are not required to so don't take offence if you don't learn much more about your status. (I'm not sure everyone in the call centres can see the same screens depending on where they are located.)
  • Call centre agents WILL NOT transfer you to the actual agent/officer working on your file.
  • Personally, so that my call is not a total waste of time, I only call when I have other specific questions that I can't find answers to online, and then I might also ask for a status update with no expectation of any useful information on status.

Could you please share how do you called them successfully? I could not transfer my call to an agent
Hi, try through the French line( I do it every time successfully) 888-242-2100, then 1, 2,3,2,2,0. And in 3-10 attempts you will be transferred to real agent line —the waiting time for answers is around 40 minutes. They speak English very good :)
