have you received any update after counter delivery to BLS center after OCI stamping? My application was processed on Nov 10 and the status changed to counter delivery to BLS center on Nov 11 but nothing after that.
Can you please share your experience of walk in at brampton for OCI? At what time did you go and how long you had to wait and number of people? Thanks!
Even i got error, saying i booked appointment within past 7 days, which I didn’t. Called bls this morning and got to know that i actually booked appointment for the day i was trying to book. So its better call bls office.
Any one knows how long it will take BLS to deliver the OCI card after approved by CGI ? here is my timeline

After this, there are no updates. I call BLS Brampton twice and they said it's approved but have not received it from CGI yet.
I am worried as I am traveling on Dec 03, 2022.
Hi all, I used postal services when applying for OCI. I included my original documents like Canadian Passport, Citizenship Certificate and Indian Passport. I recently learned that we don't need to send originals when we use postal applications. I sent my documents as per the checklist. Does anyone here know how much time will they take to return all of my originals. I have created a case with them but no response.

I went on Thursday (Nov 10th) at 11:15 AM and was around 75th in the queue. I reached the counter at 1:30 PM.
Overall, it was a smooth experience.
BLS has closed walk-in. Below is from the BLS website:
'With effect from 16th November, all walk-in applications would be by 'Appointment Only' which can be booked by clicking the link below'

My originals were sent back in 10 days (actually the entire application with drafts due to difference in name due to middle name dropped in Canadian passport and Indian passport had it so had to get a notarized same person affidavit.) Was a minor difference yet they sent the whole application back and a letter stating the requirement and also mentioned do not send originals back with the new application. So did it accordingly. That wasted at least 3 weeks.
