Hey everyone and @RefugeeHelp1
I wish you are doing good and receive good news about this new application soon.
I have a question on my mind. Let me know what you think about it.
My wife has a Spanish name and our son's last name is exactly similar to mine.
My son's passport expired a year ago and recently we got a new passport for him from his mother's country.
It is fine but in the new passport, they wrote his last name as a combination of my last name and his mother's last name.
They told us it is mandatory for his passport.
I submitted a copy of it with the citizenship application. I also sent an explanation letter and explained to them why the new passport has a different last name and we want to keep his name as it is in his PR.
Do you think it would be a problem for the application? I am worried about it.

Nobody get AOR yet?

Right now people whose application was received in Week of Oct 3 are getting AORs...so guess we are in for a long haul... It seems that they picked pace in Jun July but now again slowed...even slower in October. Realistically my guess is we can expect end of December or Jan

I do think there is anything for you to worry about here, you sent an explanation so that should be good enough, once they review the docs.

i also turn my message settings off cause I was getting ALLLOTTT of messages lol and I do not like reading them

Hi everybody, I'm starting to complete my application online. I would be appreciated anybody helps me with some questions. If there is another place for getting help please let me know, thanks.
1- last year I translated my passport, can I use it now?
2- Do we need to take a picture of both sides of the cards like Pr or health insurance cards for the online application?
3- based on the physical presence calculator my eligibility period is from 2017/11/28 to 2022/11/27, so should I enter 2022/11/27 for the eligibility end date? and then I will submit my application on November 28th, is it correct? I know it's correct but I don't understand why this method calculated all the thing from November 14th the day when I start my application!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
