Hello everyone,
I applied for urgent pr card renewal. I attached residency of obligation but I just double check it I don’t need to attch because I was only 100 days out of canada .are they going to return it ? Or ask me to reapply? Or my case will get complicated? Please advise

AOR 5th May 2022: Had GU on 5th May n nothing after that. Most people are having 2 GU in a gap of 2 to 3 days and getting an update. Any reason why there was only one GU n no update since the 5th?
Also are you all get an email for background checks complete and test invitations?

pretty interesting that 4 of us on this forum got FP requests on the very same day and there are others too it seems recently.

It could be somebody accessing your file but not doing anything meaningful in it for status update or just file moving from one location to another. No email for BG completed but yes you get for test invitation.

I have similar timeline - did you get a test invite? Is it normal to not get a test invite even after FP request?
 
I see some members received a finger print request while others didn't.
On what basis does IRCC decide who to send FP request and who doesn't need one?

Think it is normal. If you see the tracker for this year, there are those who've gotten a test invite after submitting FPs while there are others who have gotten it almost at the same time.

The basis for sending FP requests is usually random - checking your criminal record, making sure you are different from someone else already in their system, etc.
