Hi,
The reason was that I completed only 1year program and even the course itself is not qualified for any skilled level (0,1,2) job. This is only reason they gave me. Additionally I remember when i applied there was no such eligibility requirement for courses duration on 6 may but yes they changed it later that the program either diploma/degree/certificates worth 16 months duration. I even withdraw my application because i knew this gonna happen but later in feb they send me request letter for fee which was just a hope for me that maybe the duration doesn’t matter.
Hi, had you submitted WES in your qualification? 2 weeks ago also someone got rejected because of the same reason.

Hi! can someone help me? Is the public policy for TR to PR WP extension not automatic? Like do I have to apply for it? Cause the email they send last August, says that you don't have to do anything? i'm confused :(

Confused over this as well!! It’s not very clear at all. In their email, it’s said we don’t need to do anything, and a hard copy will be mailed during mid-Oct.. It’s the end of Oct now, maybe we should receive it in mail in early Nov?

Hi Everyone,
I applied under Stream B- AOR June 10th

I am worried now. In my employment letter I had all details but NOC Code was not mentioned. Do you think it will create problem for eligibility?
I shared notice of assessment , T4, payslip, hours mentioned, duties mentioned but no NOC code. There is only a line that says as he is Material Handler as per National Occupational classification .

please help

Per IRCC's website:

"How long your medical results are good for
Your medical exam results are valid for 12 months only. If you don’t come to Canada as a permanent resident within that time, you may need to have another exam."

So, most people in your situation have been resubmitting their still valid medicals.
Thank you for replying to my post. But do you know any one who passed medical when they submitted their valid medical report. I am just worried because I have sent a copy of the medical form through the web form over a month now but it hasn’t been acknowledged.

Why they’re not clearing the fking backlog. I don’t want to wait 18 fking months to get rejected in the end
On a work permit application from January 2019, it took them 3.5 years to tell me I was ineligible (I applied when I was 19 and didn't understand the details of what needed to be submitted but I don't think it should have taken them 3.5 years to figure it out}. On a study permit extension from January 2020, it took them 2.5 years to finally approve it. So TR to PR isn't surprising me with its tardiness.

I don't know anyone personally, but I have read about many people on this and other forums who submitted slightly expired medicals during Covid because new ones were not possible during Covid and there were special policies in place at that time exempting applicants from having to submit new ones. You have a different situation -- your family's medicals are still valid but you're having a hard time having IRCC acknowledge them. You will eventually get a response re: your webform submissions, however, just a reminder of the message on the sign in page:

Sign in to your IRCC secure account ...
  • If you’ve had a medical exam or given biometrics, they won’t show in your account until we process them.
  • We currently have a backlog of medical exams to process, but when we do process them, you’ll see them in your account.
It's possible that some medicals (depending on where they are coming from) are delayed per the above. Perhaps you have already done this but I would verify that wherever the medicals were done, that they indeed uploaded them, and then I would take the time to phone IRCC to find out what the agents can tell you.

could be based on applicant's case because this timeline is just too long. Not reflective of ordinary timeline. Also, there might be other parameters like - they might be applying for lmia or something like that and they might've some issues with info sharing/name matching maybe?

I don't think I'll ever know for sure. This might be 'too much info' but to answer your question: there were no reports of complicating factors, no requests for additional information, no disputes to resolve, have been in the Canada under valid or maintained status the entire time (as Student), have never left Canada (not even for short vacations), no trouble with the law, no participation in foreign military or other groups (just soccer ;-)), no issues with name, all ID's & passports up to date, addresses all up to date, no medical or biometric issues, checked online account regularly, called IRCC for status updates, got a representative involved, sent a registered letter to processing office to inquire about status/progress, inquired through MP, etc. The only correspondence I received the entire time were 2 automated emails in late November 2021 (almost 3 years into the Work application and almost 2 years into the Study application) stating that my applications were still in progress and there was no need to do anything. As I said before, when I was 19, I misunderstood the requirements for a Work permit (money from home was delayed but eventually arrived). After the lengthy delay and finding a representative, I was pretty sure it would be rejected, and eventually, about 2 weeks apart in July/August 2022, they denied the Work permit & then approved the Study permit (with Work permit), presumably catching up from Covid delays.
