Hello All. I am in Canada and I will be completing one year in few months. I have already created an express entry profile and I might get an ITA in FSW category in the next draw. Should I go for it or wait to get eligible under CEC? The processing time show FSW much longer. Wanted to know if that is actually the case
Appreciate the responses. Thanks
I cannot comment for CEC as I'm FSW, so I don't follow CEC closely but regarding FSW processing times - yes, currently they're still finalising applications from late 2020 but you have to remember that there were no FSW draws between the end of 2020 and July 2022, so once the FSW backlog is cleared, processing times should drop back to 6 months. IRCC aims to go back to 6 months processing time by the end of this year and from what I've seen in the last report, apparently they're on track to achieve it (at least for FSW).
Of course no one knows for sure at this point - only once July's applicants will start getting their PPRs we will be able to say what is the current processing time.
Thank you both for the valuable response
You got PPR in 2 months? How? I mean - awesome, congratulations

Still... wtf how they managed to do it??

European country.
You could probably get you PPR with the same timeline since from you are from UK. I wouldn't be surprised one bit.
Dudee.... don't get my hopes up
Although then it will get another 2 months just to get the passport stamped in London VO
