Can I have my Express entry profile for CEC couple of days before completing one year?

Hello All,

I will be completing one year in Canada on 23 Dec 2022. Going by the current trend, it looks like we might have the last draw of the year on 21st Dec 2022. My question is, is it ok to have the profile updated for that draw to claim one year points and get into the CEC pool?

I have seen people warning candidates not to do when they complete 11 months but since this is less than a week, I thought of exploring this option.
Also heard the draw in 2023 might start late after NOC codes realignment and related update. Thank you

Yes, it's fine. If you receive ITA, you just want to make sure you don't submit your complete application until after you have the full year of work experience.
