In my case, I completed the exam on 15th October and still waiting for the status changes. It still says waiting for you with In progress status in online portal.

Thank you and mine is still in In progress as of this morning. Hopefully they are yet to address for all the test that has been scheduled from 15th I believe.

Don't worry. Same for my wife. She gave the exam on Oct 16th.
But like I told you, I gave it on Oct 12th & it updated on Oct 15th (just 3 days).. lol

How long does it take for the test to be marked completed once we pass it? Still says 'waiting on you'

Over the past few weeks, it is taking very long for the test to be marked completed - including even some Toronto area offices that used to do it the same or next day. There may be some exceptions but mostly that's the case.

I received my invitation for test on 21st October. I am wondering after finishing test how long does it take to do oath. I am worried bec we are travelling out of country in December so do not want to cancel and get new one. I am sure after finishing test at least 2 to 3 month would be an average to get Canadian passport. Please confirm.

Nowadays it's taking more time. After test there are other activities like Language, Prohibitions etc. which will take time before you get till oath. Your dec travel should go smoothly.

Usually it takes between 2 weeks to 3 months between the test and the oath ceremony. I advice you to take your test in time and travel as planned, and if the Oath came while you are abroad, come back to Canada to do the Oath or ask to reschedule if you need more time abroad.

At the Oath ceremony you can ask the clerk to send you the certificate with express mail if you have to travel soon, and you can apply for urgent passports. This can take between a week or two.
