Guys I am tensed. It’s been 4.5 years since I graduated. So many times I came close to PR but my bad luck was too much. In case if my application gets rejected after 1.5-2 years of wait, I won’t have any more strength to continue to try again :(

Actually no, if you just can show them you have passed the ELIGIBILITY of your permeant residence application you will get your health card.

  • are applying for permanent residence in Canada and:
    • have submitted an application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and;
    • IRCC has confirmed they have reviewed the application and that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply (see document requirements);and
    • you have not yet been denied
Yes, this is correct. For the eligibility pass, I've never contacted IRCC for proof of completion. Anyway, I will probably get the ECOPR by the end of next week so I am in no rush for that.

Dear @SmzAmir , Thanks for your efforts in this forum and the great job of preparing the QA document. Regarding below Q&A , I have something to say. I was able to link my application and got AOR only in mid April this year. However, last September ( 2021 ), I proactively sent my police certificates and results of medical tests via web form without being asked. There was a long silence and in January 2022 I received a response to my web form that they have received those docs and they have been added to my file. At that time I had no app num or even temp num. Just to clarify. Thanks again for great work !

Q6: I have made a mistake in one of my forms, how can I notify the officer about it?
If you have not received the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) yet, you cannot send documents through web forms for your application. Wait until you have your AOR or your application number.
If you have your application number, you can send a webform with the correct form attached.
When selecting your application type, use permanent resident and express entry for the selections. Make sure to include your application number, UCI and date of birth in your enquiry message.
Thank you! Yeah, the reason you got the confirmation after AOR it that the agent needs the application number to attach the documents.
Although you were lucky that the agent did that because most people will not receive a response in such cases.

don't worry bruh, you're not the only one feeling like this, I'm also in the same boat as you. but we'll eventually get through this rough patch and it'll all be worth it in the end. I haven't seen anyone get refused if we have provided everything that they need and if we meet all the eligibility requirements. we'll be fine broskie.

I don't think your application will be rejected under this stream. Although this is a slow pathway, very rarely I saw people received a refusal. And that only happened after 2-3 ADRs that haven't been followed correctly.

Hi Amir, i would like to know why they request a particular ADR like for example Schedule A to submit with in 7 days? And wat is the significance of Schedule A document in our Pr file

IMM5669 is one of the most important documents you submit with your application. Why? Because it's being used for the background check process which is the longest part of the whole processing time and any issues or mistakes can lead to delays.
The time interval to submit a new document is I believe based on a standard. I think the application forms has deadline of 7 days, PCC has 30 days, etc.

Smzamir, I also have question for you about the steps of PR application such as eligibility, info sharing , security check, criminality and background check.
Can you provide brief explanation and in simple language about each and every steps.
Like what ircc check, when they initiate these steps and how much time ircc take.

Folks,

My passport expires in 9 months (my work permit also has same expiry).

Please advise whether I should renew my passport now or wait for a few more months hoping I will get a PR in next few months?

Updating passport now will mean sending webforms and delay an already delayed application.

Extending your passport do not affect your PR application. When you get approved, you can virtually land and get your PR card.
You don't need your passport after approval.

● Eligibility is checking your application against the criteria of the stream that you have applied under.
● Background check is the general term for criminality, info sharing, and security check.
- Criminality is checking your criminal records in your home country (using the PCC), and in Canada (using your biometrics in RCMP database).
- Info sharing is checking your crime records with Canada partener countries: Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
- Security check is checking your personal history (personal history question of imm5669) with CSIS.
