This is for my OWP. Do others have same things for their work permit application? Like when tf are they planning to even open my file?

Review of additional documents
  • We do not need additional documents.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check
  • Not applicable.
Final decision
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
My OWP 1 moved pretty quickly. I applied in November 2021 and was refused in Feb 2022. Reason being that I had not paid some fees. I thought that the entire application was free.
My OWP 2 was MUCH slower. I applied in March, for my first request in August 2022. Finally, the application was cancelled and I was refunded after PR was approved.

Thank you! Not sure if he came under GSS stream, whose processing time ppl say is around 2 weeks? But that came later in Sep & he applied in June. Anyways, regarding tr to pr WP, that letter you shared is something only for ppl whose pgwp is expiring this year. Mine already expired last year, my Marco one is expiring too in a few days. So for me, they aren’t gonna send the extension email but a paper copy directly. I dunno when they will. I fuckin wanna move to a bigger city
No problem.
When did you submit your application for WP extension? Have you applied for the extension under TR2PR public policy?

I also have the same status page. For inside Canada WP and WP extension applications, they will only check the eligibility. That's why theoretically it should be approved in a few days. Someone also posted that the IRCC agent told them that these types of applications should be approved fast but unfortunately it's their policy to process them in about 4 months!
The reason you see "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility" under the eligibility section also implies this fact.

Then based on this trend do you & @CherAmie also think my PR can be processed in 6 months duration from the time of AOR?

Hello guys,

I applied for my PR and my husband’s PR using this pathway. Our application was submitted through a consultant on May 7th. The last ADR we received was in Aug,2022 and after that there’s nothing except that eligibility and background check in progress.
I also visited back home in March,2022 , should we inform IRCC of this visit? If yes, can I do it myself through a webform or does my consultant have to send in this info?
Also, is there anyway to check for status update if my file was sent through a consultant? Or is the consultant the only one allowed to view anything related to my application? This is taking so much longer than I’d anticipated and is giving us all nothing but stress.
had anyone applied for their spouse at the same time through this pathway? Please give me some hope that there is might be a possibility of this being finalized by the end of this year
