Hi guys. Did a walk-in today at BLS Brampton and surrendered my Indian Passport + applied for an entry visa.

Anyone know what current timeline trends are like?

I travel back to India on Nov 14 so just wondering if I'll get the SC and visa back in time. Planning to apply for my OCI immediately after getting SC and then fly out whilst OCI is in process.

Have a relative who will be travelling to India later in Dec/Jan so she will carry my OCI back with her.

Sorry to hijack your post. Can you please post when you got to the centre, how crowded was it and how long you waited to get to the front of the queue?

I applied for My OCI on 1st Sep, Date of Acknowledgement for that is 20the Sep. Since on BLS website, it is mentioned the processing time for OCIs are 4-6 weeks and we are flying on 19th Oct, I decided to applied for Indian Visa on 7th Sep, Used the Purolator service for both pick-up and drop-off. I have already received my Canadian Passport with Indian Visa. I live in Edmonton and sent the documents to Surrey Location. Although I am still waiting for my son's OCI as it says it is ready for Dispatch on BLS website.

My Son's OCI will be delivered today. One thing I noticed that if OCI is ready for dispatch after Stamping (and you have already paid for purlator service), the shipping label only gets created on a Friday. It happened for both documents for me (My Indian Visa and My son's OCI).

Can you please explain, what is Passport Matchup ?
If you are talking about Original submissions, then Toronto Jurisdiction doesnt require originals to be submitted. They need only self attested copies.

Mine was acknowledged on 17th Aug and still under process.

I remember seeing some folks who have done the MTL - OTW submission. Cannot find the post in this thread. May be in the 500 series page number

Spouse Nationality should be entered as Canada (Became citizen recently)? and Passport number, Issue Date, Issue Place should be of the canada's new passport or India's surrendered passport?

My wife Application Same dates , Let's see what happens.

i received mine around that time, 8 weeks, not 8 months. we will hear something After17th August or +2 weeks from 17th August Max

OCI typically takes 8 weeks for Ottawa, you can not say less than that based on one or 2 applications, unless you are lucky 5 weeks as one person got so far.
