Are people noticing a difference in timelines between a postal application vs in person application? And the same question about return, is there a noticeable difference between time taken by post vs pickup in person?

I just tried tracking my OCI card on purolator with CANXXXX number and it has been already dispatched from BLS showing delivery date tomorrow while BLS is still showing the same status “Counter Delivery to BLS after OCI stamping”. Hopefully it’s gonna arrive tomorrow.
Hey, my status on BLS shows as "In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre Processing at Consulate General" since sep 22. I can see my OCI number on OCI website. Did you call BLS or did something? we have similar timeline.
I tried calling them couple times but they were of no help. Did you tried putting your CANXXX number on purolator’s website and track your package?
yes, i tried that but there is no trace on it. I have flight booked for Oct 10. I haven't seen anyone here mentioned "In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre Processing at Consulate General" as status on BLS. Its seems like BLS gets the stuff within a day from CG. It is so frustrating...
I think you’ll be okay. You’ll receive it within a day or so. My flight is on 4th. I am really on the edge
Mine is pickup option ... thinking about going directly to BLS as if i called they will repeat what status saying on website but looks like there is gap on actual progress and website status update.
I am trying to book an appointment for OCI submission in either BLS Brampton or Toronto. The lineup outside BLS starts at 4 AM and I want to avoid it. I am checking every day, but they don't have any OCI appointments till the end of the year. Passport and Visa appointments are available in November.

Sharing my experience, Month back , I did a walk-in at BLS Brampton, reached there around 12:15 pm and I was admitted at around 1:30 pm, there were around 15-20 people in line, I was managed to submit my application, I don't think any one camp out at BLS at 4 am , I believe those days were long gone, if you reach by 12 pm, you should be able to submit your application , take this advise with pinch of salt , its purely based on my personal experience

There are no tips. You either accept a slot available online or line up at BLS.
4:00 am is rumors by call centers guys who wants your money for courier charges... we went around 6:00 am and we were among first 3. we were out 8:15 after submission. time u spend on finding slots online appointment would be more than time u spend on line in walk-in
I applied on 22nd Aug, Acknowledgment date 26 Aug, showing 'Passport Ready for Dispatch' since Monday.
