Today at 2pm I received golden email from Mississauga CIC office for NOTICE TO APPEAR: To Take the Oath of Citizenship (In-Person Ceremony) on 29th Sep 2022. Right now they have not yet updated my Oath Ceremony status in my tracker an old ecas system. The Ceremony status still not start in new tracker.


I don't know if I am in the streamline or not, routine or -non routine application, but I'd like to share some more information may useful for who want to figure the speed of citizenship processing time: I am 19 years old and going to second year of Uni at the time of submitting my application; my physical present included credit for nearly 365 days for previous 2 years as international student, no international travel during PR time due to Covid19; in pre-PR time, I traveled to home country once/year; my application included all of boarding passes, flight tickets, passport stamps every entries, exists and previous study permits... Hopefully all these information can help.

Hello @Garvin , can you tell me which CIC miss email address you received the oath invitation from? I’m an august 2020 applicant, my tracker got updated on sept 5th with everything done except ceremony. My ecas also says decision made. Can they still ask for other things or am I now just waiting for oath? Please advise

I received the oath invitation from this email address: CIC-Mississauga-Citizenship@cic.gc.ca

I think your case got decision made mean everything are ok now, just wait for your oath ceremony. My case took nearly one month, from decision made on 23rd August to Oath invitation letter 22nd Sep. I am sure you will get it soon.
