Thanku so much dear helpful alot
You're welcome and hopefully you get the info. For me when I change my address I just did a webform. Although I never got a response, when I called them one day I realized they had changed. Which proved they see webforms but sometime don't respond.

You can use the link below to change address: However remember also when you get portal you will still confirm the address again.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/change-address.html
NOTE: Its good practice to do a screen shot of your successful submission and time stamp for your records.
You are on implied status. PGWP are normally not renewable but this process gave PGWP an exception which covers the WP extension. s. 186(u) of the IRPR, implied status allows foreign workers to work without a work permit as long as they
- applied to renew their work permit under section R201 before the original work permit expired
- have remained in Canada (meaning they have not physically left)
- continue to comply with the conditions set out on the expired work permit, other than the expiry date
IF YOU PHYSICALLY LEAVE Canada between now and Jan 2023 then you would have SCREWED UP your implied status. DO NOT LEAVE before a decision is made. Basically you should get the decision with the 120 DAYS that's why.
Damn, more travel plans foiled by the IRCC. I really appreciate it Mega, you're a living legend.

Thanks, after change my address i have to chnge address on all documents like wp ? License sin also?
You do not need to notify the SIN Program about a change of address, unless you are waiting to receive a Confirmation of SIN letter. (Here's more information regarding this
https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/sin/receiving-updating.html )
Work permit as long as you have informed IRCC. I don't think they print another WP with address. It takes forever to even get a confirmation so changing may take forever lol. Not sure though. At your descretion.
For License and the rest, yes, update the address.

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the correct forum for this, but I was wondering if anyone applied for an extension to their PGWP while waiting for a decision on their to TR to PR decision.
A quick rundown of my situation:
Applied to French Speaking Int'l graduates stream in September 2021 and I received my AOR in February 2022. Haven't heard anything since.
My PGWP expires on February 2023, so last week I applied for an OWP extension for TR to PR applicants. When accepted this should extend my OWP until December 2024.
Today I received a letter from IRCC titled "WP-EXT only except PGWP". The letter states that my OWP extension application was received, and that I am authorized to continue working under the same conditions until January 2023 (120 days after the application was made) or until a decision is made for my OWP extension, whichever comes earlier.
I got quite a few questions, so I'd really appreciate your input
- The title of the letter has me a little confused. Does "Except PGWP" mean this email does not apply to me? Or did I screw up somewhere along the application?
- The grace period provided in the letter is earlier than when my actual work permit expires (from Feb to Jan). Did I cut my time short, or do I still go by the date on my PGWP?
- Do I have to leave the country come February 2023 if nothing changes? Processing times say that I should be able to get my OWP in time, but I know how unreliable they are.
- Finally, the following excerpt from the letter has me concerned "This extended period of work is authorized as per subsection 186(u) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. If you leave Canada before a decision is made on your application, you will no longer be authorized to continue working." I was assuming since I have my valid PGWP that this would not be not applicable to me, does anyone know?
Thanks in advance!
You can only apply 4 months before your WP expiry for tr2pr OWP. So, you should have applied in Nov. You should withdraw that application and apply in Nov,2022 as officer will reject your Wp-ext application
Hi Guys,
I dont know if this is the right forum for this, but I'm curious as it is expected the government to issue another tr to pr program, I will be able to apply for CEC next may 2023, with a CRS of 486, potentially 505 if I improve my English test results... my concern is wich path could be faster/easier for me to get the PR if applying for the new pathway if release or waiting for the EE, I appreciate your comments on this.

That's an impressive score. 486+ has a likelihood to get in because the rate of score drop has been avg 7points less every draw since reopen. Majority of people are in 470+ range. 480+ has less than 10K. I think you will get the TR-PR faster but no harm to double dip. I'd say if you have 1 year experience go for CEC as well. whichever comes first take. Opportunity cost is the cost of application.
