Hey guys, just got my passport mailed with the visa. Just a quick question tho, now that I have it, is that the only document I need to bring when traveling to Canada? Or is there another document I need to bring? Like for instance my proof of funds? Thanks!
I came in 2018 and I brought following
1. Passport (Of course)
2. COPR document
3. Funds Balance Certificate
4. Address where I am going to, for PR card Delivery
They never asked for Funds, but asked for the rest.
Till today, I heard two of my knowns who were asked about funds. I dont know if they are asking these days.
Dear members, could you please take a look at my case? I'm super confused!
1) Currently I do have 2 years and 10 months of work exp. Can I submit my application now, and claim that I have 3 years of work exp.? What I'm thinking is, even if I get an ITA around October-November 2022, I'll have my 3 years anniversary on November 1st, 2022. Or do I need to wait till November 1st to actually meet this criteria?
2) I know that the system calculates work experience from month/01st to month/31st. My CV:
Company X: 23 Sept, 2019 - 29 Oct, 2021 (2 years and 1 month) --> Question: what's my start date? Is it September or October? Technically I started in September but if I choose "September" the system will think I was working from the beginning of the month. According to this logic, October seems more like the truth? (???)
Company Y: 01Nov, 2021 - present (10 months so far) --> Question:I'm planning to submit my profile on 01 Nov, 2022 to meet the "3 years work exp." criteria, so I write it as: 01 Nov, 2021 - till Oct, 2022 or Nov, 2022?
I have my work experience in India for 2 years but the company did not provide us the offer of employment copy as are hired after the internship with them. Now when I mailed them they say according to the revised company policy they cannot provide roles and responsibility documents. I now have my reliving/experience letter and payslips as proof.
Please suggest what I can do with this scenario. Do any other documents support this info for the Employee record documents with them? I worked for 2 years which helped me in reaching the points that I have now.
I tried contacting ircc through phone and web form but haven't got any response.
Regards,
Neha

Hello, please I need clarification on something. I was working full time during my final year January 2019 and I graduated same 2019 from school. In addition, I was being paid in full and I have worked there for extra 3 years. Can my 2019 work experience be added to my 3 years work experience after school?

Assume this is studying outside Canada. You have to figure out your own NOCs using the database. NOC A, B or 0. If you have 3 years of experience for the other jobs, you would know the NOCs for those jobs too.
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I'm having a question regarding my work experience. I got a full-time NOC B job and worked from Oct 2020 to July 2021 (I got laid off after July 2021), I recently started a new full-time job (same title, same field) in March 2022 and have been working since. So do I need to wait until next year March to start my Express Entry profile or can I start now? What document(s) do I need from my old job? I had an employment letter while I was there with my ROE, pay stub, and T4. Thank you in advance.

Thank you so much! I have another question about my education history, I studied for 2 yrs in Singapore and essentially the academic credits I earned from that institution were transferred towards an university in the States so I only needed to spend another 2 years in the States to get my full bachelor degree. In the ECA report for the degree I got from the States it said that my degree is an equivalent of a 4-yr program in Canada. Given that I studied in the states for 2 yrs, how many years should i put on the complete/full academic years field when I start my EE profile? should it be 2 or 4? sorry if it sounds confusing.
EDIT: So I suppose I'll need to put 2 yrs for the time I studied in Singapore and 2 yrs in the States? Then when I have to submit documents I could attach both transcripts with a letter of explanation clarifying that the academic credits from Singapore were transferred to the States hence there's only one ECA report done for the degree earned in the States?
