My Background check was completed on the 22nd of Aug and there was an update on 23rd and ever since then there has been no update. I haven't received any test invite so far.

Two ghost updates on 23rd and 25th of August. Nothing since then. All are in progress except Oath and Test which says not started yet. Getting nervous and impatient now

Don't worry mate. I have seen many people get ghost updates before getting the test invite. There's no proper consistency to this. I got my test update to in progress after close to 2 weeks after BGC complete and further ghost updates..

As far as I know we just have to patiently wait for the test dates... Again there seems to be no clear consistency with timelines.. One can only guess based on whether it was online/paper application and location... but its just that-- a guess. As long as your papers are in order we should be good..

So hang on there mate..

Hi All,

Just finished my test. It took 15 minutes in total including taking photos and reading and agreeing to the disclosures. Got 20 out of 20 right!

When I was reviewing my questions, I got a pop-up that I had left the test tab even though I clearly had not. I just clicked on "I'm Back" button, I do not know why I got the pop-up. I hope it does not create any issues for me.

When I was done, it said "in the upcoming months, we will review and confirm your results and contact you with next steps...", I guess CIC is making it clear that there is still a long wait before the oath. Good luck to anyone taking the test during this long weekend!

Exactly what I was going to ask - our timelines are identical - I’m taking the test on the 6th not 5th since I’m travelling.what about you.
