Got a ghost update today, nothing changed. I sent a web form request a few days ago about the status of my application. Could that be it?

No worries, I know a lot of us wondering how long it takes. I had to cancel my passport appointment tomorrow because I doubt it would arrive on time and it would be better for someone else to take that slot.

Congrats! Was the envelope folded or rolled up to fit into your mailbox? I'm just wondering if the envelope can be rolled to fit into a small mailbox or if it's rigid and delivered like a package. Carriers delivering packages to my residence tend to deliver to the wrong building, so I'm thinking that during oath, I should ask to have instructions on finding my building added to my address if the envelope won't fit into a regular mailbox.

I got mine today, after i cancelled my passport appointment… so now i have to queue lol

My Citizenship Oath ceremony was on the 17th of Aug. Tracker marked completed and closed on the 26th of August (today). I have not checked my mailbox to see if there is anything yet. Am assuming the certificate won’t be mailed unless the file is closed.

It's the typical brown paper envelope, slightly rolled up but fits in the small mailbox.

Just want to let you know that I went to Service Canada in Scarborough around 1pm today and was able to get served because I had my hotel booking, I will get my passport on Monday next week. There was not many people queuing so might be worth trying walk-in.

In my case, it was mailed out 1 week after my file was closed.

Do you mean you went for urgent processing without flight booking? Only Hotel booking was enough? (like US hotel booking)?

I went for urgent processing without flight booking because I will be travelling by car. I provided the paid hotel booking for the coming Monday and the clerk asked me to complete a statement on why I needed the passport to be processed urgently. Really thought I would have to cancel the trip but luckily the certificate arrived!

Has anyone else got only Physical Presence and Ceremony pending? Weird they passed my Language and Prohibitions but not Presence at the same time.

Yup. Same thing happened to me August 22. No update yet till now.
