Why do you need biometrics as inland?
Haven't done my biometrics yet. In a unique situation - Came to Canada as a student in 2018, when biometrics wasn't required for temporary visa.
Applied for PGWP in 2020 where it wasn't required coz of the pandemic.

Do they usually send updates within 1-2months?
IRCC normally checks for completeness (R10 stage) after 30-40 days post AOR. It’s reflected in GCKey account with updated medical status and assignment of your permanent UCI number (10-digit). However, because these are not normal times (at least certainty for IRCC) due to the backlog, I am not sure how long it will take for July-Aug 2022 applicants. I am AOR Oct 4, 2021. I haven’t had any update after R10 in Nov 2021. Same for the leftover cases even way back to May 2021. I hope you start receiving some updates on your applications. GoodLuck to all.

Best Wishes! :)
