I got a ghost update yesterday on my application and my wife’s. Does anyone know what these ghost updates mean?

There will be some update on Background check. For most people, it is completed, some may get a Fingerprint request. See your status tomorrow and check your email too.

I gave my Citizenship Test today. Generally, after how many days does the status tracker update to reflect this? Currently still showing for Citizenship Test as "Waiting on You"

I was able to check status on ECAS from day one when i received AOR, but on tracker i was able to register after a week.

oh i see. You were able to check on ECAS from day one, it is just that the status changed to 'in progress' only after 1+ month. On Aug 12, right?

For some reason, I am not successful in checking status on ECAS. I keep getting "We were not able to identify you".

Yes ECAS to “In Process” from “Application Received” on Aug 12.

And line was added that we start processing your application on August 12.

Today's update: My background check completed. My wife needs FP done.

Actually it got updated the same day. Citizenship Test shows as Completed now on the online tracker.

I do not know if IRCC wants to get more time to process applications. They are sending so many FPs these days.

Hi Experts,

I have been asked to take "Oath of Citizenship" on September 8, 2022. Only 20 days left, BUT NO INVITATION HAS BEEN SENT. I am not sure whether it would be an online oath or in-person.

I called CIC contact centre, but can't reach to a customer care Representative.

Please tell me what can I do to get details of "OATH CEREMONY"
