I have submitted my paper based PNP application this June and it arrived June 21st. I have not heard back from them and is not provided with a case number yet. Should I create another application online for my PR? Will it be faster? I need to know because I am worrying about not hearing back from them before my PGWP expires next April.

If someone has some advice please tell me, thanks bunches.

There's a Chinese guy on this forum whose wife worked for the CCP - they're waiting around 2 years.

If you worked for the CCP, I suspect Canada wants to tire you out and not immigrate by just keeping your application in perpetuity.

Hi guys, I have a quick question. I got AOR on June 25th and linked it to an online account, and ever since then I haven't heard anything from IRCC. I did not do upfront medical so I did not provide that, but I did it a couple weeks ago and the doctor sent in the results. I also provided stuff like new passport, police certificate etc via webform. Is it normal to not hear anything for almost 2 months? I waited like one year and almost five months for AOR, so I am a bit worried. Also, after I linked the account, is there anything else I have to do or just be patient? I am asking because there is a clickable option for submitting documents but it says no documents required.. but it still gives me the option to sign. Is this something I have to do or only when IRCC requests something?

If anyone could help me, i would appreciate it a ton. thank you.

After you linked your application, you waited for three months without any response? I hope you get your PR soon. I have seen others on here who got their PR in like 2.5-4 months but they had several document requests whereas we are just waiting without any update at all.

Thanks a lot! did they asked you for CV and your supervisor’s contact information?! If so, when?!Unfortunately, for PhD and master graduate they need to check and this step is very time consuming! And the other step is checking obligatory military service if you have served! What is GU?! You mean 20 days ago you got DM and you haven’t received portal 1?! I’m from Iran, are you from Middle East?! Thanks
