We applied citizenship application for me and my family( wife and son) on Feb-28-2020. Today we got the email for virtual citizenship ceremony scheduled on Aug-23-2022 but only for my son(minor). Pretty strange. Myself and my wife status still showing in progress (all status completed except ceremony). Normally ceremony happens for the whole family together.
Anyone else faced this situation?? I already sent an email to them. Let’s see. Hope to see something tomorrow in my email. Fingers crossed

If you're getting scheduled by Niagara Falls like many of us Ottawa applicants are, I've found they are really quick at sending the certificates (unlike the slowness of Ottawa in the past of waiting months for the certificate!)! We had the oath on Wednesday August 3rd, we replied with the signed form within a couple of minutes of the oath finishing, no urgent request, and they sent out the certificate on August 4th! I wouldn't wait for in person if your desire is to get the certificate as soon as possible. I assume there will be a long wait for in person.

The problem is I am still waiting for the actual email regarding the oath (only the tracker has been updated so far) , so no idea for now when the invitation is coming from , hopefully Niagara office. Any idea how long it takes to get the email after the tracker has been updated ?

Received an email for oath invitation today. It came from Niagara office, So, someone mentioned that they are quick in sending back certificates. How many weeks it can take to get back certificates? Anyone?

We (my partner is the applicant) just got our notice today for the virtual oath on the 23rd. Glad the wait is finally nearly over after more than 2 years. Now just waiting for passports. Lol
Anyone still waiting form July 2019 ?
Wife still waiting for the oath, tracker is completed as of July 14, and decision shows made on service3.cic website, but no invitation yet
