You can try asking at the airport for the PGWP though, it's up to the officer but asking won't hurt, you might be lucky!

By proof I mean I have the submission document that I received after I applied for PGWP.

Assuming you're ONLY visiting the US you should be fine, see below taken from the CIC website.

I have a temporary resident visa. Can I leave Canada and come back?
Single-entry temporary resident visa

• If you have a single-entry temporary resident visa, you will generally need a new single-entry visa to come back to Canada.
• You can request to return to Canada on your originalsingle-entry temporary resident visa, if:
  • you will only visit the U.S. or St. Pierre and Miquelon; and
  • you will return to Canada before the end of your approved stay in Canada.

Multiple-entry temporary resident visa

• Yes, you can come back to Canada, if you have a multiple-entry temporary resident visa and it has not expired.

Expired temporary resident visa

• You can request to return to Canada on your originaltemporary resident visa, even if it is expired, if:
  • you will only visit the U.S. or St. Pierre and Miquelon; and
  • you will return to Canada before the end of your approved stay in Canada.

An officer will confirm whether you meet all the requirements before allowing you to come back to Canada. If you visit any country other than those listed above, you will need a new temporary resident visa.

Third point applies to you, since you're in implied status.

Since I'm silently following this forum I'd like to share mine.

Eligibility: July 20, 2022
Approved: July 21, 2022
Good for 3 years
Course: Post Secondary 2 years (16months study & 8 months Co-Op)

No Email, just constantly checking my GCKEY after seeing a February applicants.

No. Didn't you have a SIN number before? The number itself doesn't change, when you get your permit the expiration date of the SIN umber gets updated.

Number is the same, and you cannot extend the date until you get your physical permit.
