Actually until they make a decision on your extended wp application. It could be 1 month or 10 months!
How did few thousand applications processed if they were not rejected in less than a few months?
April 2022 Backlog was 5,156
July 2022 Backlog is 1,309
@HelloSUVCanada - please read the reply on that from
@suv-abc ; you are comparing apples to oranges. Get the right data for comparision and read the follow-up replies on the thread. It's been already clarified.

April 2022 backlog of 5,156 was both Federal Self Employed & Startup visas. From July 2022 IRCC started to show the numbers separately.
Federal Self Employed | 4,502 |
So all together we can say July 2022 Backlog is 5,811 (FSE+SU)
Thanks. I showed the product is working in Canada. 2 people. Yes both together

Hi friend,
Congratulations.. And wish you & your family have a safe landing in Canada.
Our timeline is most likely the same.
One of the member of our team & I have been requested to have another X-ray and has just submitted one month ago.
Now awaiting for the PPR.
Just one question my friend, Have any members of your team need to have a re-medical exam?
Thanks
Kai

I see. Why they can't process 1309 applications fast!!

That's a Billion Dollar question, but most likely the reason is because there are only 2-4 dedicated IRCC officers working on all the SUV cases.
Hi SUV Friends,
Anyone knows how long does it take for the SUV processing time from the "Medical results Passed" to PPR?
Please advise.
Thanks
Kai

@Kai Nemo - based on what I have seen on this forum, on an average it takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks after a medical clearance. After that, it's a mere formality for the PPR to be issued.

Hi Startup Visa,
Thank you very much for your helpful information!
I submitted my medical results in Mar and 10 days later I was requested by IRCC to have some further medical tests since my X-ray was suspicious, and it took me 3 months to do all the medical tests again as requested. As a result, the doctor of the physician panel confirmed that "everything is normal" and they sent my medical results again to IRCC one month ago. Last week my application has just been updated to " Medical results have been received <=> Passed". I assume that it has been passed and wish to have the PPR soonest...within 2-4 weeks as your advice.
Keep in touch, my friend
Cheers
Kai
