SDS 2022 Processing Time

Last two weeks? I only saw that change this week for India SDS peeps. Not sure but a work colleague, who applied on 11th May, got her PPR. York Uni, Grad Cert. September.

Also, a thing to note is that we both hadn't seen our medicals updated on the GCKey portal (but we never raised any webforms) but curious enough, she got her medical updated, review start, and PPR confirmation all on the same day (20th July).

Now its not FIFO method, seems its batch processing now. Means one agent is getting x amount (random) application and he is doing as per his speed. Same way for other. Most likely someone is fast and other slow. Good, let's hope for best.

Applications submitted: 8 May
Biometrics given both: 12 May
Biometrics updated (prime SP applicant): 12 May
Medical updated (prime SP applicant): 29 June
Spouses's application has not have any updates as of now. Biometrics still reads "we have not received your biometrics", but the status was changed on June 8 from "your action is required" to "submitted" and biometric information is present in the applicant information box
Eligibility: has not yet started for both

Today is exactly 10 weeks since biometrics given

I don't think there's many early May applicants here.. alot of the people have applied towards the end & should hopefully get updates in the coming days, maybe around start of August.

Applied in SDS for September'22 Intake from India. Study Permit + SOWP + Kid
Applied - 24th May
Biometrics updated- 30th May
Medical updated only for Spouse on 5th July and not yet updated for primary applicant and kid.

No further update.

I think we just don't know how long one has to wait.

Background check - Processing
Final decision - Processing
Intake - Sept 2022

It has been around 52 days but I haven't received any update, is there anyone who has received their visa from a similar category?

At least your medical status has been updated on the portal. I applied on 24 May, but still no update since biometric on 30 May.
