Hello, I’ve a question about address change and whether applicants are required to update IRCC even when they have chosen to receive the digital copy of the Citizenship certificate instead of the physical one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The digital certificate is currently a pilot program that IRCC is trialing for some selected candidates. They ask selected applicants if they want a physical certificate or a digital one. I'm not sure you can opt for one without being invited at this stage of the program.

Yes, I did read about the e certificate grant and its great to see them implement it.

Were you asked to participate in it when they sent you the oath email ? or did they email asking for it seperately ?

I am assuming I will get an email 1 week before correct?

I got my oath update today. It’s scheduled for Aug 3rd. But on the portal I see two updates for oath with same updates and the oath ceremony status still shows not started. When will it get changed to in progress, on the oath date?

Which processing office? Sounds like your colleague is one of the lucky ones chosen for the e-certificate pilot. I wonder if only certain offices are offering it or if it's just for a few randomly selected people nationwide

► Test Activation Period : 18 MAR 2022 - 07 APR 2022
► Citizenship Office : Montreal, Quebec (changed to Vancouver on 23 June 2021)
► Test Date : 27 MAR 2022 (Passed)

I have received two GCMS notes. 17 Feb 2022 (before Citizenship test) and 5 May 2022 (after Citizenship test). Both notes showed interesting progress and updates.

My online profile looks like this right now. Nothing interesting!

It was last updated on 23 June 2021, but there wasn't any changes shown on profile. Today, I found out that it was actually backend update of file transfer from IRCC Montreal Office to IRCC Vancouver Office. Anyways, Due Date is just Sunday 24th July 2022, so hopefully will get some positive update in this week.

I checked my citizenship status tracker online, it was updated Yesterday that I need to take my oathtaking this July 28, But I didn't receive any invitation letter. Is there anyone same page like mine?
