I believe IRCC will ask you to correct the information and will ask the information from you. This will delay the decision until they will receive the response from you. This is what i think.

I am almost on the same boat, they received it on April 25, Started processing and AOR on May10, and still processing

Same thing happened with me, me and my wife already have our new cards. Son’s still showing as IN PROCESS.
I landed on 21 January 2022 using COPR. Still awaiting my PR card.
Where to check the status? Do I need to apply it from somewhere?

I am planning to renew my pr card which due to expire in 8months. I have plan to travel post application in Aug. can I use my old active card to enter Canada even if new card is generated and mailed but not received?

As long as your card is valid and you did not receive the new one, you can still use the existing one.
