I applied for a CBSA note a couple of weeks ago and got the result. It's pretty much the same as what is on my cic account (Eligibility - not started, Criminality - Passed, Biometrics, Medical - Passed, Expired). What's interesting though is that there's an Application Assignment due date (2022-08-10). I wonder if this is the due date for the case officer? lol.
From what I think that application assignment due date is that this file must be assigned to the officer before that date. Bcoz I received AOR in Feb but my application assignment due date was in Mar.

Hi guys i have a question , i did an adoption for 2 kids in RDC from canada the fille was sent to dakar, 6 month later dakar sent me a message saying that they sent the file in Kenya PR! That its kenya whos handling the application now Can anyone help me with this please i am so confuse !!
Please try to consult an immigration consultant/lawyer as this group is only about Tr2Pr. But as a general, IRCC sends files to different processing offices depending on available resources and background information.

also under "Messages" column instead of "Read" it says "None". I am freaking out because both situation are extreme for me to bear atm. Positive or Negative. I just pray it isn't negative (touchwood) for some odd reason. Because usually faster decisions could be not happy news at times. But I am hoping GOD to help me. Om Namah Shivaye!

@CherAmie could you decipher anything off it?

  • Date of Biometrics Enrolment: July 15, 2022
Review of eligibility
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results
  • July 13, 2022 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents
  • We do not need additional documents.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
The column messages is null because you haven't received any message from IRCC on this application yet. When you get an AOR, ADR, or an update, then this column has information.

Hey guys I have some questions.
I just logged into my CIC account and saw that "Current status" was "Application/profile updated" instead of "submitted".
I went inside and saw that BIL that was submitted on Friday was confirmed there but there's no update about "biometrics" being passed. However, this I had already checked yesterday. I am not sure why it was "Application/profile updated"? I didn't receive any email this weekend nor I can see any ADR there under the PR application. As I linked earlier, is it the reason that I am not seeing any ADR? I don't want to miss on it like how some people have. They linked again and saw expired ADR. I don't want such issues.

Can someone suggest what's happening. I went back to my CIC account and the status changed to normal "submitted" again. How to know if there's an ADR waiting if there are technical issues on TR to PR portal? Please someone answer. The last update is still the medical being passed when I had linked the on 14th July with date of medical passed being 13th July.
"Application/profile updated" also known as "Ghost Update" shows a progress with your application.
The reason you see this can be because the officer requested a new document from you, medical is passed/expired, or an step is done (background check, eligibility, etc.)
In case of an ADR, you'll also receive an email but in the others, you'll only see the status change when you login to you online account. Overall, it's a positive sign that application is moving forward.

How to know if it’s gcms or cbsa notes?
GCMS is the global case management system which has the information regarding the applications.
You can get GCMS note from different departments like IRCC or CBSA. What most people refer as GCMS note is acquiring it through IRCC. You can also do it with CBSA. Both have the same source, only CBSA has more information regarding the security checks compared to IRCC version.

Hi, I just want to ask you guys something.
I got my AOR on Jan 30 and I submitted ADR on the same day. After that, I didn't receive any update yet. I am planning to go back to my country for two months from Nov to Dec. Is this can be a problem with my application? Also, I heard that I have to come back if I receive a portal request. Please let me know if you guys know anything about this?

Thanks!

No, it's not a problem. If you receive your portal request while you're away, you will be asked to provide your return date and send your passport to the nearest Canadian embassy and they'll issue you the one-time entry PR visa.
You can then land in Canada as a permanent resident.
