I submitted my online application last week, still no update.
I called ircc today to see if I can cancel my online application, and he said no. but he said I can send another paper application if I'm worried, and I might need pay the fee again tho. it doesn't hurt to send two applications, ircc will only process the first arrived one.
Which number did you use to get IRCC to respond to you? The last time I tried to call, an automated message asked me to send an email as they are overwhelmed with calls.

Hi,
I have a situation. Last Friday I submitted PR Card renewal application for myself and my wife through PR Portal. Today I see that for my application under "Reason for Return" it says "Photos are missing" and definitely I uploaded the front and back side of my photo. Now the application status is still "Submitted" and "Action" button is disabled. So, shall I create separate application again or should I try with paper application?
Any input is really appreciated.
Same issue with my wife's application
"Return reason" -> Photos are missing
Status still shows as Submitted
I am also sure that I uploaded the front and back of her photo. No warnings on the photo in the editor tool.
I also uploaded the photos as JPG as Other documents. I don't think it was required but still, I did.
I sent another paper application in case, and pay the fee again.
agent said they will process whichever comes first
Which is faster for PRTD application: Online though PR portal or via email?

why pay the fee again?
what if I send the same receipt?
why pay the fee again?
what if I send the same receipt?
you may use the same receipt, but I'm not sure if it will cause trouble and delay. just don't want to worry because of only 50cad

If you want to wait for a month for them to reply, then it's better you send them paper application which appears to be a fast track option these days, and if you have urgency then add airline ticket copy.
My online application was submitted a month ago, still status shows as "Submitted", no AOR so far.
Anyways, you know what's best for you. I wish you Good Luck.
I am ready to submit by mail the new format IMM5444, filling in the pdf on line. However, the printing of the answers to the pdf come out very faint, any suggestions on how to darken ?
Did you see "Ready to submit" next to the form IMM 5444 under status when you applied online? No matter what I do here, I dont see "Ready to submit", but I see it next to all other requirements
Please check any field, in my case it was phone number format which was stopping me.

@RazaM did you try checking the status of your application here:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en
Yeah I checked on ecas, no progress on PR card renewal. I'm just worried I already lost 1 month submitted my application online, I wish I had not done it and sent paper application, at least there would be some movement. Online system is just immature and no clear information available.
Now I'm thinking of sending paper application using the same fees receipt that I used for submitting online application. Any suggestion on this will be very helpful.

Thank you. My issue was actually in the reason for travel field, I think I had a lot of text in there. I made it shorter and it worked.

I personally believe that there is no delay, and you will soon see that the status changed, it will then move fast. I was looking at some of the timelines that ppl are posting on this thread:
PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline some of which are for online submissions, I see one person who submitted early June, got AOR after a month, then after a week his card was sent for delivery. I think all this waiting time with the status at "submitted" is part of the 60 days expected timeline to have a PR card renewed. Once you have the AOR you can then track progress in ecas.
I am trying to apply for PR card renewal through the online application.
I have filled in the online form, attached the mandatory checklist, photos (front and back), primary identity document (passport), original pr card, proof of payment and the consent and declaration. However the submit button is still disabled. I am at a loss as to what is missing in my application to enable the submit button?
Thanks!
what does it mean, proof of residency requirements if you were outside of Canada for 1095 days or more in the past 5 years.

if you didn't meet the days of RO, you need some proof to explain the reason.
if you meet RO, don't bother, and you dont need to provide this document
