Hi guys,
I have recently completed one year in Canada and am currently in the express entry pool. I am planning to go to India for vacation for 2 months (Dec'22 and Jan'23). Do you see any issues if I get an ITA while I am out of Canada? Though my score is far below the cut-off score in the latest draw, I would like to check if my vacation will have any impact on the PR processing. Appreciate your input.

Sure, you can travel outside of Canada. If the decision is made while you are outside of Canada then you simply let IRCC know and the COPR will be issued to you outside of Canada. I don't know the detailed process but this is discussed in a ton of threads on this forum.
I'm assuming you haven't claimed any points for having a job offer in Canada. As long as you haven't done that, no issues.

How long will you be outside of Canada? If it's the length of a reasonable vacation, no issues. If a significantly longer time, that could be a problem. Depends on the details.

That's fine. You're just taking a long vacation. You're not really leaving Canada from the standpoint of moving out of Canada for a long period of time.

I can't give you a specific number of months. However you want to make sure it doesn't look like you've returned to work for your employer in your home country. At some point in the process IRCC will conduct an eligibility check and this will be assessed. 3-4 months does feel on the longer side but it's very possible you'll be fine. I can't tell you one way or the other.
Your COPR will have an expiry date on it. You will need to land in Canada before your COPR expires.
