Don't trust the deadline. For me it was 2022/03/31 and still my application is in progress. The one year period is just a standard they put in GCMS note but it can take more or less.

Have they given you any indication at all as to why they are taking so long to process your application?

That time that has lapsed for you so far is ridiculous.

I have just received GCMS Notes and it mentions that the due date for my eligibility and security is exactly one year after AOR (February 20, 2023). Looks like I am gonna be in this forum for a while. Laughing on my luck .

I think in your case it was because you added your spouse in middle of your application so it might've extended because of that or for some other reasons

That's true if my side of the application is finished and her side is in progress.
But still my background check hasn't been finalized. In the CBSA note that I got, criminality and security is in progress for the principal applicant.
The dependent is also in progress but it's separated. I have no idea why it's taking this long.

No, I've reached to them in various ways, i.e. call center, MP and even the minister himself.
No one is giving me an answer. All just say it's in progress.

by reaching out to Minister you mean his email or some other way, please share the contact info. Need to make him realize of the job duties he was hired for not photoshoots and free World tour.

I read in this forum that criminality has a validity for certain period. if the other things such as info sharing, security has not started or not finished and in the meantime the criminality validity ends, then it goes to processing again.
That's what I understood.
