Hi guys,

I applied in essential non-healthcare.
Applied: July 14, 2021
Biometric request: June 24, 2022
Application linked: June 25, 2022
Biometric done: June 26, 2022
AOR: June 27, 2022
Current status: Submitted

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

So, I did 2 jobs qualifying as essential ‘A’ & ‘B’. The time when I was applying, I was about 300 hours short from current job ‘B’ that’s why I had to use the hours I worked during previous job ‘A’. For job ‘B’ I had all the paperwork and attached it.
But for Job ‘A’ I didn’t had a job letter when I was applying (former employer refused to provide one). So, I wrote a detailed letter of explanation and typed all info about work I did (noc code, tittle, duties, duration, location, etc everything I thought might be relevant) attached T4s, Notice of Assessments and Record of Employment. At the time when I was applying, I only had 1 paystub out of 26 for Job ‘A’, so I didn’t attached it, idk why

In the explanation letter, I also shared the efforts I did to get the employment letter from employer (text message screenshots and emails, where employer replies “You no longer work for me so I will not give you letter”, I also tried emailing corporate head office but they mentioned only retailer can give that (former employer, same person). I tried to get letter and copy of paystubs from former employer like 3 times and no success.

I have been optimistic so far but just watched video about a rejection where a guy was unable to provide paystubs as ircc requested ADRx3 and file then was refused.

Anyone in similar situation as mine?
Can I apply for PNP while TR To PR application is still being processed? If yes, then should I? To save time, just in case if tr to pr don’t work out for me?
Should I withdraw tr to pr application to avoid refusal/rejection?
Any suggestion or better ideas?

Thanks for replying.

I am still confused, we had already provided that form "Supplementary Travel information" with only our details while applying right? can't we just update it with spouse details in question b same like you updated "generic application form" with dependent details, so this will be one updated form with both PA & Spouse details?

I believe I am almost there in understanding the forms just above thing confuses me a bit.
That's actually what you need to do. For Supplementary Travel information as you mentioned, we submitted with only the PA part but when they ask for your spouse version, you need to prepare the same form but add your spouse information in the dependent section, same for imm0008.
It doesn't mean you need a form only for your spouse but you need to update the previous ones with your spouse added for as your dependent.
There are only certain forms that you need to fill specifically for your spouse like imm5669 (Schedule A) or imm5645e (Family Information).

Hi All,

@SmzAmir
This morning I received an email from IRCC to provide form IMM 0008 along with PCC for my wife and me.
The email directs me to upload documents through my Secure IRCC Online Account.
I linked my application to the profile and wanted to submit the form and docs however, on the application page the "How to submit additional documents link" is missing. Instead, I have a link called "View submitted application or Upload Documents" and that seems to be broken.
IRCC email also states that they should receive docs in 7 days else a decision will be taken and as a result, the application will be refused.
Question: Should I send docs through Web form?
I know it would be slower than uploading docs however i see no other option.
I tried calling IRCC the whole day and did not get connected even once.
I only have 3 more days including Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday until time is up.
Was there anyone else who experienced similar glitch on the Account details page?
How did you guys tackle this.
:)
If you want to upload these documents in your online account, you need to use the "View submitted application or upload documents" section when you're logged in. However, I saw some cases that people received an ADR but there is no place in the View submitted application or upload documents page to upload anything which means the officer forgot to add fields for you to upload.

If such case happened, take an screenshot of this page, prepare an explanation letter, mention the situation (received an ADR for xxx forms, and the page does not have upload field) and attach it with the requested documents in a webform.

Does "reporting a technical issue" make any difference?
:)
Yes send it through Webform if you are not able to upload.
Better safe than sorry.

Does anybody know of contacting the local MP really does something?
Would it help in speeding up the processing of the application?
I had the same question, and I contacted them for the same reason.

I connected with them on 23rd April, and my application is still at the same stage. In my personal opinion, I really doubt it makes a difference.

Yea, i applied on may6 , got aor in end of jan.. still waiting for further updates

one thing more, did they asked you for a new pcc as well?
I dont have pcc while submitting application, then they asked for pcc when i got aor on jan. I submitted then.
I am fearing that they might ask for a new pcc? Did they asked for a new pcc?
Yes. I didn’t submit pcc at time of application. So I got adr to submit my pcc. But I submitted one from last year july. They didn’t request any thing after that. Now my final is pending

Thanks for your reply.
To be honest, I am so desperate to get this done. All of us have been waiting for more than 1 year (my application is there since Feb with no update).
I was thinking about any method that can get things moving. I know there isn't , but it doesn't hurt to ask.

In my case, Mp only helps me to get an update on the current processing on my file when I was unable to connect with IRCC. I requested the MP in April and now its almost July. I did not get any single update since then. But you should try to connect with your MP, at least you can get some positive things about your application.
