Physical presence, education and language are in process. I got BGC completed May 16. May 17 test invite with test windows one week after. Received test invite email just 12 hours before the test date started. I don't think I will get any update until at least mid July, I think for online applicants they work in order, people who've got test done from NF office since Apr are still waiting for a new update. Are you in Ottawa too?
it's crazy how processing is so slow it's unbelievable
Hi,
I am an online October applicant,
Aor: October 18th
Processing office: Sydney
Statuses are in progress, there’ve been no updates since AOR. I ordered Notes and they showed that they have not started reviewing my application yet.
My spouse got his AOR in November (Sydney) and his background status was changed to completed a couple month ago.
Similarly, few people I know who filed their applications in November already completed their tests in April.
It’s frustrating that they process November applicants ahead of October ones
I requested ATIP on my file and guess what? Nothing has started as of June 13th (when ATIP Generated)
Online Application: Oct 12 2021
AOR: Jan 5, 2022
Nothing since then.
From ATIP
Primary Office: CPC Sydney
Secondary Office: Niagara Falls
File Location: e-Grants Inventory
1st Ghost Update : June 20, 2022 - Finally something!
Hi Everyone, in the status tracker it shows Oath Ceremony invitation sent. The oath ceremony is scheduled for July 4th. Do they sent this invitation by post? I checked my email dont see anything from cic. I recently relocated to a different city and have raised a web form to update the address. Havn’t heard back anything on the web form. Is there any way to contact them to check if the address was updated and is there a way I can request the ceremony invitation letter again?

Hello Mafriend, I am in the same boat as you. I moved to a different province and I have sent a web form to see if I can update my address but something tells me that will not do the trick. Would you please let me know if you called the IRCC? if yes, what did they say? how can we update our home address? Thanks!

Does anyone know how often FP is requested? I am current abroad in Europe, so will have to take the test while being here, hopefully there won't be any issues. But I am a bit concerned about having to come back to Canada just to give FPs...

I received the FP request about 6 days after the Test invite Letter. However, some people don't receive FP requests and can clear BG checks without it.

Not yet! I assume it'd be sent out closer to the actual test date, mine is June 24.
My son is an October applicant. He received AOR in December and BG completed in January. He did citizenship test and interview in person at Scarborough office on 11th of May. He received a ghost update on 18th May but test status still not changed to complete. Please advise if any other applicant has teh same experience as I have seen in this forum that test status changed maximum within one week after taking the test..
Sitting on no updates since DM for me after 1st June or my spouse after 12th May.
Hi, just checked my status and Oath ceremony has been scheduled for 27 Jun. I am sure yours will be scheduled soon. All the best.
