Yes my partner is still waiting last update March 4.. we called IRCC they said background check is pending and it’s with another third party company also it can take up to 27 months for the whole process to complete.. they basically said stfu and don’t call us again

Hello everyone. I just received an update that I have to provide additional information but I never received any email (not even under the junk folder) or mail. Is there any email address I could reach out to follow up what this additional information they are requesting. I already submitted a webform a month ago but no response. So according to my application status, it is waiting for me, but I don't have a clue how to proceed.

Finally My BG got completed today after 2.5 months. but prohibitions is still in progress.
Everything is completed now except prohibition, any idea Please?

Thanks Jamiez. But I got this update last May 10 and still waiting for that email since then. There are 2 other emails 1 for citizenship test and 1 for fingerprint. Both I have completed. That's the only outstanding item which is to provide the additional info. Its fine with me if they are sending it on the next days or months but what I'm afraid is that nobody's noticing from IRCC that they have not sent the email out and my application is marked as waiting for my action.

I think it varies depending on which office is processing your file and some other factors. But, I believe 3-4 months sounds right to me. I just checked my application tracker and it says that I have been scheduled to attend Oath Ceremony on 6th July 2022. However, I do not have an email with any instructions from IRCC yet. Do I need to write to them about it or should I wait a little longer to receive an email with instructions to attend the Oath ceremony?

Also, how long does it take for the citizenship certificate to be received after one has attended the Oath ceremony?

The intrusion email will come within 1 week before your day. So don't panic.
If you don't receive anything 2-3 days before it, you should contact them.

I have no clues here, it's 3 days - to 4 weeks.

I received my citizenship certificate. My I am filling the passport form but this form is acting funny. When I click on READ Instruction nothing opens and also when I click on COMPLETE Form, nothing happens. ANy suggestion?

Feb21st 2022: Citizenship Test completed

Physical presence, Language and prohibitions - In progress.
They need to change to completed for the invitation to Oath
