Called and spoke to the agent at 18882422100: June 14, 2022, and was told that there was no Canadian address in the file to send the PR. Even though it was given to the agent at the time of the immigration process.:mad: The address has been updated in their system now and was told it takes 70 days now.

Strange that officer at Montreal airport asked you address for PR card. never heard of it.

Does the GU on my profile indicate that the PR is sent for production ? I don't see any status change updates though.

What's the tracker for checking the status of my PR card renewal? For context, I sent my application to IRCC on June 6 but I don't know if I can start tracking it on their tracker now

Hi All,
I have a question related to PR card renewal and RO.
We are PR since 28th Jan 2018. We left CA on 17th Feb 2019 (after ~385 days).
We originally planned to stay out of CA for a year but then due to Covid, we couldn't come back. And then we were expecting and couldn't fly and some other medical reasons.
We landed back in CA on the 5th of March 2022. We will be short of 16 days to comply with RO by 28th Jan 2023.
My question is, can we apply for PR renewal after 28th Jan 2023, with 714 days of residence?
Does IRCC have any buffer for such a small number of days for non-compliance?

Anyone else experiencing the same? How can we track the application to know if they actually received our application and started any processing???

Hello,

I sponsored my wife and she landed on March 14th, 2022 at YVR. We still have not received her first PR card. The officer said they will mail the PR card to us and we do not have to do anything extra. Any ideas on the timeframe? I see the current timeline is 71 days.

i have THE SAME timeline as you!! just checked IRCC ... "We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive."

Yes I did, it was returned first because of photograph issues also. and then resubmitted around May13
